A workaholic
running a family holding company, he enjoys suba diving, deep sea
fishing and mountain biking. Laiths short but illustrious
career in Class 1 reads like a one-man hall of fame! After seeing
a race in St Tropez in 94 he took up racing, firstly in the
USA, moving onto the world scene in 97. He won the Class 1 World
and European Championship in 97, the Pole Position Trophy
in 98, has 4 Grands Prix wins, 4 podium positions and 7 Pole
wins to his name. On the US circuit he won the National and SBR
World Championship in 96, was inducted into the APBA Hall
of Champions, voted Rookie and Driver of the year in 95/96
and holds a record for the most consecutive race wins of 10 on the
US circuit.
