The 1958 born austrian sportsman from Gein at the Danube fights on water since 1991 and that with great success - a surprising and amusing detail : The first time he e v e r moved into a motor powerd boat was when he started training laps in the class 700.

This brought him finally in his first season the third place in the Austrian Championship and beside two first places at Grand Prix`s two more impressioning rankings : Nr 6 at the European Championship and Nr.7 in the world title chase.

From 1992 till 1995 he won several Austrian Championships , 3. Place at European Championship and many fist places in other Grand Prix´s .

1996 he began his career in Formula 3 and finished 11th in a field of 31 starters.

1997 The Austrian Powerboat Federation maked him trainer of the Austrian junior classes.

1997, after legendary victories in Formula 3 Rupp TEMPER finished second in the world championship ! -- Unluckily second -- He just missed being the1997 F3 champion because he was crashed out by a competitor in one of the penultimate races while he was leading in the race while number 1 in the overall standings .

1998 Temper works on the idea to bring a decent event like F1 or F3 to Austria and gives all his intentions and time to the austrian F3 junior team .

1999 Rupp TEMPER does his most important and exciting step - he joins the FORMULA 1 team of the German Michael WERNER , who was himself more than 300 ( ! ) times Nr.1 at Grand Prix`s begining in 1976 .
