Budapest, November 3rd, 2000 : Mr. Peter Biksz, President of Technical Olympic Foundation and Mr. Nicolo di San Germano, UIM F1 promoter are pleased to announce the signature of a 3 years agreement for the organisation of the UIM F1 Hungarian Grand Prix in Dunaujvaros.

Mr. Biksz commented: "Dunaujvaros hosted the Hungarian Grand Prix between 1990 and 2000 and this new contract shows the interest of the City in F1 Powerboating and will certainly please all the Hungarian fans"

Mr. Di San Germano commented: "This 3 years agreement shows the continuous growth of F1. With the increase in TV coverage and in number of participating countries (17 for the 2000 World Championship) F1 is the most international of all mechanical sports".

The final UIM F1 calendar will be announced in Abu Dhabi on November 24.
