VICTOR KUNITCH CONTINUES FIGHT IN HOSPITAL!

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates: (20th October) Ð Latvian driver Victor Kunitch continues his biggest race ever, as he battles for recovery in hospital in Abu Dhabi following his first lap crash in yesterdays 10th round of the U.I.M. F1 World Championship for power boating event.

Kunitch, who crashed at the first corner, was initally hit and then helplessly had his boat spun around facing the oncoming traffic as the rest of the field came around turn one. He was hit again in the cockpit and was seriously injured with head and upper body wounds.

The native of Moscow, Russia was immediately taken to hospital by helicopter and remains in serious but stable condition.

The whole of the F1 community continues to pray for his full recovery and looks forward to seeing Victor on the circuit soon.
