AMERICAN SPORTS MAGAZINE “SPORTS ILLUSTRATED”
HIGHLIGHTS TWO PAGE PHOTOS OF GP OF ITALY CRASH!

LAUSANNE, Switzerland – (28th of July, 2006) – The largest weekly sports magazine in all of North America SPORTS ILLUSTRATED dedicated two color pages to the opening lap mishap of rookie drivers Ivan Brigada of the Tamoil Team along with Swedish Rainbow Team driver Jonas Andersson as they roared down into the opening commitment pin of the Grand Prix of Italy, the U.I.M. F1 World Championships 3rd round of 2006 at event on Lake Como back on the 16th of July.

The popular sports magazine owned by media giant Time Warner has over 3 million subscribers and is read each week by 23 million adults, including 18 million men. Those numbers add up to 19% of the adult population of men in the United States of America.

The two page color digital image was taken by series official photographer Paul Lakatos /AFP/Getty Images showing both boats flying upside down as they blew over heading down the opening straightaway on the first of 50 laps for the Grand Prix of Italy later won by native son Guido Cappellini of Como driving the Tamoil Team boat.

The July 24th edition of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED which highlights on its cover the story of American Fantasy Football, will be on sale for another few days throughout North America before the July 31st edition comes into play.

This marks another example of how the U.I.M. F1 World Championship under the leadership of promoter Nicolo di San Germano continues to reach out to the world and showing now in particular this week to North America in their biggest sports magazine of how exciting the F1 world series can be to follow. Great coverage to a great many people.
