It
has become public by now that the FUCHS Group associates with Philippe
DESSERTENNE for the fourth year in a row, in order to set up a 2-boat
team for the F1 Inshore World Championship. Supported from the first
day on by the international lubricants producer FUCHS, Philippe
DESSERTENNE has reached the 8 th
place in the 1997 F1 World Championship as well as the 3 rd place
in the Europe F1 Championship. In 1998, Philippe DESSERTENNE got
his first podium with the 3rd place in the European GP in St Petersburg
In
1999 a newcomer in the F1 inshore enters the FUCHS-Team : the Danish
pilot Gert LADEFOGED.
Driving
boats built with DAC hulls made in the USA and equipped with Mercury
V-6 electronic injection engines, both pilots will compete in the
12 Grands Prix of this international event which will start on May
1th in Portimao in Portugal.

- 2 chief mechanics (one per boat)

The
F1 Fuchs Team owns:
- 2 F1 boats racing all the GP in 1999
- 1 motorhome (80m2) equiped with an area for the boats and mechanics,
and a sitting room with a bar for the guests
- 1 double trailer to transport the 2 boats
